Let's get to know each other!

Hi, I'm Nurse Mo!

If we haven't already met through the Straight A Nursing podcast, I am so happy to finally meet you!

My background in nursing includes MICU, TNICU and PACU - and of course, I'm also a nurse educator and podcaster! In addition to podcasting, I also run the Straight A Nursing website and create online programs to help nursing students succeed.

I absolutely love teaching. My nurse "super-power" is breaking complex things down so they're easy-to-understand (and apply!). I can't wait to share my best clinical tips and knowledge with you inside the Academy!

-Maureen Osuna, MSN, RN, CCRN Alumnus

And, I'm Nurse Steph!

I created Hello Healer in 2020 to be equal parts lighthouse and life-jacket for those times as a nurse when you feel like you are drowning and need help to get on solid ground - or when you need a little light to help you find your way. I believe you shouldn't have to struggle with any part of being a nurse, and with the right support, you won't have to!

My bedside background includes ICU, good ole Med-Surg, and PACU. While I love being a nurse, I love TEACHING and coaching nurses so that they do not have to struggle the way I did. I have been teaching in some capacity for the last decade, while maintaining my bedside skills. I taught at a University in a Nursing School for years, and in the clinical setting in the ICU and ED with nurses, physicians, clinical educators, sepsis coordinators, and more.

I have personally taught thousands of nurses all over the United States, so I really get what you are going through and want to help you build a solid foundation as you begin your nursing career.

My nurse "superpower" is a blend of practical clinical teaching and emotional intelligence, with some grit thrown in for good measure. I can't wait to share my real-world nurse knowledge with you so that you can THRIVE - and not just survive - in your #newnurselife.
